SJ PROJECT JERUSALEM -
This extraordinary residence is located on the edge of a rocky mountain with an outstanding view from the apartment to the Judaean Mountains.
The venue brought the studio together ,at the client’s request, to decide whether to demolish all the rear exterior walls facing the mountain, thus
leaving each bedroom with direct view to the mountainous terrain.
The use of transparent glass walls leaves a thin veil separating between the living space and the mountain.
By projecting light on the mountain each room becomes an intriguing romantic cave.
Within Jerusalem stone lie hues of rust and burgundy colors which naturally led to the studio’s choice of rosso levanto marble in the color scheme.
Pairing with these is the grey oak veneer and the ribbed tinted glass for the kitchen design.
